1. What We Collect

• Account information: email address, username, and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Job and client data you enter: client names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, job notes, part measurements, estimates, and payment amounts you record.
• Files you upload: project photos and sketches.
• Basic usage data: standard web server logs (e.g. error logs), used only to keep the Service running and to fix bugs.

2. How We Use It

We use this data solely to operate the Service: generating cut sheets, estimates, and PDFs; storing your jobs and client records; and sending emails you've requested (like deadline reminders), if email is configured on your account. We do not sell your data or your clients' data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following providers to run the Service, who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Neon — hosts our database (all your job, client, and account data).
• Render — hosts the web application.
• An email provider, if SMTP is configured, to send account and deadline-reminder emails.

4. Data Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual jobs at any time from within the app. To request deletion of your entire account and associated data, email us at support@cutbyzewo.com [REPLACE with your real support email] — we'll process it manually.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
